Craft Fair Book Sale at the Town Hall
On November 22nd 2025 from 9-1, The Weld Public Library will be having a Holiday Book Sale at the Weld Congregational Church Christmas Craft Fair.

For a suggested donation of only $5.00, the America 1776-2026 Calendars are now available! Limited quantities are available, stop by the Library to get yours while they last. The Calendars are also available at Skoolhouse Variety.

Botanical Gardens Family Pass Fundraising Drive
The Weld Free Public Library would like to purchase a 2025 pass to the Botanical Gardens in Boothbay for the benefit of our patrons.
From May 1st to October 10, 2025, an individual, couple, or family can request a date to visit the Gardens for free. Just sign up at the library! Restrictions apply. Please help us support the drive for this valuable asset for our town! The amount we are trying to raise for this fabulous resource is only $150.
You can donate in person at the library Tuesdays and Thursdays 10-1 and 3-6 pm or online. Thank you!

Wish List for the Library
Supporting the Library can happen in many ways. As a small Library with limited resources, just donating some items on our wish list can really help! Here are some items we need now that would benefit and enhance the operation of the Library:
Big Items:
Kohler 10RESVL-100LC12 10kW Home Standby Generator System (100A Indoor 12-Circuit Switch) or Generac 10KW Automatic Backup Generator with Transfer Switch.
Laptop Computer (contact Paul for specifications)
Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
Smaller Items:
- 5 foot step ladder with handles
- 9-10 foot step ladder to reach lights
- Outside push broom
- Garden or leaf rake
- Outside hose holder
- Postage Stamps
- New comfy chair for the reading area
- Glass dome for our rare bird
- Frame for old handwritten note about the Library that is on display
- Non perishable items for the food pantry. During the Winter months, only items that are not affected by freezing.
