Support

The Weld Free Public Library and the Board of Directors thank you for visiting our new website. We are very proud and committed to the important and valuable services we bring to the community.

The Library is a nucleus for the town, especially for our seasonal guests. Weld is a very small town, yet our goal is to provide the same level of services of a Library that has substantially more resources than we do.

With the numerous exciting events we are providing this summer and early Fall at the Weld Free Public Library, we are asking for a little help.

We are raising funds for the Children’s Summer Reading programs, and some much needed indoor and outdoor space upgrades for your safety, comfort, and convenience.

In all, we are trying to raise $5000 for the costs for these programs and upgrades. We are hoping that you will help us out and use our new, secure, donate button below.

If you don’t feel comfortable donating online, you are welcome to mail a check to: Weld Free Public Library, PO Box 120 Weld, Maine 04285.

Any amount helps! Please donate if you can!

Please reach out to the library at 207-585-2439, or in person, or by email for other ways to support the library. Volunteering is an excellent way you can help! We always need volunteers for various fun activities and events!

Check out our Wish List for every day needs that would really help the Library!

For book donations please call the library during open hours.

The library accepts non-perishable food donations for the food bank located in front of the library next to the book return. If the box is full, please drop off items during open hours. During the Winter, please bring food items into the Library. Canned goods with a pop top opening are preferred.
